The second and final day of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event is here, giving Prime members exclusive access to deals across categories like tech, vacuums and household essentials. If you’re in need of Legos, Amazon is currently discounting a handful of models, including its floral arrangements as well as its movie collaborations (see: Star Wars). They make a fun activity for kids as well as a soothing hobby for adults — I have multiple Lego bouquets around my house, which brighten up areas where real flowers wouldn’t otherwise thrive. With that, here’s what we think is worth shopping for.
This sweet trio of bonsai trees is a good alternative for anyone who’s struggled even with succulents. (I’m eyeing it for my desk.) It includes a yellow gingko bonsai, a green pine bonsai and a wisteria bonsai with lilac flowers. Like a lot of Lego’s floral arrangements, these are a little challenging for kids and meant for adults.
This toy is billed as a red fox, but you can actually rebuild it as a red owl and a red squirrel, too. (The paws and head can move on all of the animals.) It comes with accessories as well, including a spruce tree stand, a branch stand and an acorn. The 667-piece set is intended for kids over nine years old, according to the brand.
This isn’t just any Lego car. For one, it actually has a pull-back mechanism so you can race it. But once it’s built, you can also use the Lego AR+ app to see it in augmented reality to bring your work to life. Like some other more complicated builds, this one is meant for kids nine and up.
Intended for adults, this autumn-themed centerpiece is on my wish list — with 812 pieces, it can keep me busy for days. It features rose and gerbera blossoms, and has a split design that allows two people to construct it at the same time. It’s technically a centerpiece but can be displayed on a wall, too, according to the brand.
With 850 Lego pieces in a rainbow of colors, this set encourages a little builder (four and up) to use their imagination. It comes with classic bricks in a variety of sizes, as well as 10 models for a horse, boom box, windmill and other toys — which can then be rebuilt into other creations, too, depending on how they’re assembled.
Enjoy summer camp year-round with this tree house-inspired set, which comes with a zip line on which the five mini dolls can actually zip along. In addition to an obstacle course complete with a trapdoor, the set comes with animals (like a squirrel and beaver) and accessories (including water bottles and granola bars).
Made for fans of The Mandalorian, this set spotlights Grogu, a.k.a. Baby Yoda, even including his hover pram. Made for kids 10 and up, it also comes with a Sorgan frog (his favorite snack), shifter knob and a cookie, as well as a tiny information plaque.
