I am a bit of a clean freak and follow many cleaning influencers on TikTok. I noticed that a number of them use this stuff, so I decided to give it a try myself. You can use it to clean all types of surfaces (including stoves, ceramic tiles and glass shower doors), and it leaves them sparkling, according to the brand. A little goes a long way, and I like the slightly fruity scent it leaves behind. Apply a dab of the paste on a damp rag and rub it on whatever you are cleaning.
This unique sponge has soared in popularity since it appeared on Shark Tank, thanks to viral videos on social media. What makes this sponge unique is that it changes textures based on the temperature of the water — it stays firm in cold water to help rub away grime and gets softer in warm water for a more gentle cleaning. The brand also has other products for sale on Amazon —including Scrub Mommy and Scour Daddy. Plus, even though it’s abrasive (which makes it great at scrubbing away stuck-on food) it doesn’t scratch plates and cookware, according to NBC Select commerce editor Cory Fernandez, who uses it for dishes.
This tool helps you steam clean your microwave to remove dried spills and gunk. Remove the top and fill it with vinegar and water before reattaching. Microwave it for seven minutes and let the steam go to work. The steam will soften spills and stains so you can easily wipe them away, according to the brand. Angry Mama is dishwasher-safe and comes in four colors, including purple, green, blue and yellow.
These plastic-free tablets dissolve the minute you add them to the water in your toilet. The formula is both bleach free and septic safe (they don’t damage the pipes), and they make it easier to get rid of stains on your toilet bowl, especially with a scrub brush. The tablets leave a pleasant lemon and cedar scent and they’re dye free, so they don’t turn the water blue. Plus, they come with a tin and you can order refill bags when you run out.
An NBC Select Pet Award winner, this portable cleaner lifts away messes from carpets, upholstery, car interiors and more using a spray-and-suction mechanism. It comes with several attachments, including a stain trapper for pet messes and a self-cleaning hose to rinse it out after each use. NBC Select updates editor Mili Godio uses it to clean up after her dog, Bella, and loves how fast it works. “It visibly removes stains in seconds. It’s amazing to see the difference in color after using it, especially when I clean my carpet,” she says.

Throw out that nasty dish towel that sits on your counter, drenched and growing mildew. Try this fast-drying stone dish mat which dries much faster than a traditional cloth dish towel. It’s made from an absorbent stone material and is antibacterial, according to the brand. We also think it’s more stylish than the dish towel, too.
Keep your flatware organized with this drawer insert. “I recently purchased this for my apartment. It’s pretty basic, but it’s adjustable so it can fit in any drawer,” says NBC Select reporter Harry Rabinowitz. This organizer is made from bamboo and comes in three colors: natural, black and white. It has seven separate compartments and at its smallest, it’s 10 x 14 inches but can fully expand to be 15.5 x 14 inches.
If you eat a lot of rice and grains like quinoa or barley, this find will store up to 25 pounds of it and make it easy to dispense, so you don’t have to scoop from it. This device prevents potential messes that often arise from having to keep the rice in its original container or bag, which tends to spill. It’s also much more aesthetically pleasing than simply using a clip to seal the bag, too. It includes a measuring cup with a handle and the font of it has a small window so you can see how much is left.
This straightforward paper towel holder frees up space on your kitchen countertop, giving you more room to prep meals. It attaches to the bottom of your cabinets and holds the roll horizontally or you can attach it to the wall and have it hold the roll upright. It’s a little over a foot long and you can attach it to a surface using the adhesive plate attached.
Having a mult-tier shelving unit under your bathroom or kitchen sink saves a lot of time searching for items and maintains an organized look. This option includes two units, each with two tiers that can hold toiletries, cleaning products, bottles and more. Plus, each of the shelves slides outward so you don’t have to bend down to find something.

This 8-hooks coat rack comes recommended by Fernandez who bought it after he ran out of space in his drawer for jackets. “I love this tree because it looks modern but is also very strong,” he says. “I use it to store lightweight items like a scarf or hat, but it also holds my heavy winter coat and bags with ease and doesn’t fall over.” It also takes literally seconds to build, which only includes attaching the parts together by hand, without any special tools.
You can order food, turn off the lights, turn on the coffee maker and so much more all from your phone. This device makes it possible to open and close your blinds from your phone, too. It attaches to your existing blinds and turns them without you having to manually do it — you can even schedule the blinds to open at the same time everyday.

Fernandez got this storage unit and loves that it helps save space in his bedroom, since it utilizes vertical space rather than room on the floor. “I love everything about this laundry hamper — it has wheels that make it easy to move around, it’s super tall and holds all of my clothes without tipping over and it has a lid to keep everything out closed.”
This set of rechargeable wall sconces automatically turn on when motion is detected within 13 feet and turn off after 15 seconds of no movement, according to the brand. The battery lasts for up to a month and they come in both light and dark wood. The lights are also portable — you can detach them from the base and bring them with you or move them to another spot in the house.
This trio of ceramic vases makes my bookshelf look instantly chic.. The vases are 4-inches, 7.5-inches and 10-inches tall and look great on their own, but you can also use them for floral arrangements. I like to place a few white roses in them for a monochromatic look. You can keep them together or separate them and use them in various areas of your house. While I have the set in white, it is also available in a multicolor set or a two-toned gray-and-white set.
Get the pretty glow of candlelight without the messy dripping wax. This set comes with four 7-inch tapered candles that require AAA batteries (one per candlestick). Malin recently purchased them to organize a closet outside of her bathroom. “There’s a lot of space between each shelf, so I wanted to stack storage bins on each to hold extra beauty, skin and hair care products, cleaning supplies, pet supplies and more,” she says. “They make my closet look so tidy — I love opening the door and seeing them stacked up. The brand also gives you the option to purchase sets of four, so if I needed a couple extra, I can order those instead of getting eight more.”
