The Beats Solo 4 are on-ear headphones that are lighter and smaller than over ear alternatives like the Beats Studio Pro. Their best feature is a standout battery life: up to 50 hours on a single charge, plus fast charging that can deliver up to 5 hours of playback in just 10 minutes. They connect over Bluetooth as well as wired USB-C for more detailed, lossless audio. The headphones work well on iPhone and Android devices using the Beats app.
One downside to the Solo 4 is the lack of automated noise cancelling, meaning they are not the best fit for a noisy commute, crowded gym or air travel.
